A Home Away From Home

The Taramani Guest House (TGH) is housed in an imposing double-storeyed building located at a central place within the IIT Madras campus. It provides boarding and lodging facilities for Institute guests, visitors, newly appointed faculty and staff members, delegates and participants attending various conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops.

TGH is operated as a non-profit activity to mainly support the academic and research activities on campus, with a homely atmosphere and ambience traditionally acclaimed for its hygiene and food of homely relish and richness.

The guest house offers 18 suites and 101 air-conditioned rooms, a spacious dining hall serving hygienic homely food, high-speed WiFi, and 24-hour reception services.
